The drive to Topeka was a windy adventure.
I made a quick stop in Beloit to see the little red schoolhouse.
It's a reproduction of a typical one-room school house that were used throughout rural communities until about 1960.
My mother and father attended a schoolhouse much like this in Antelope, Kansas when they were growing up.
It's been a busy week! Lots of visiting with my dad and stepmother,
Sam the fish has a new home, got my mobile weather station up and running, my stepbrother Kenny brought us some very tasty Kansas BBQ, and my stepbrother David stopped by for a visit.
The weather has been gorgeous. One night we had a nice Midwest rolling thunderstorm and about an inch of rain.
